The Walking Dead Lands is a post-apocalyptic open-world build-and-earn experience based on The Walking Dead universe where you can build and upgrade your land, structures, and communities while earning rewards. THE DEGENERATIVE WALKERS are very special. When you buy one, it will decompose over time and generate 3 additional walkers. If you hodl, you will end up owning 4 unique walkers, all based on your first 1 of 1 character. 4 UNIQUE NFTS FOR THE PRICE OF 1
Our ‘Walker DNA’ Technology behind these NFTs is unique. Each of the 5000 available Degens will be a 1:1 ERC-721 NFT.
Over the course of several months (all happening within 2022) the NFTs will “degenerate” and spawn off a new NFT generation.
EACH GENERATION WILL INHERIT CHARACTERISTICS FROM ITS PREDECESSOR NFT.
The initial NFT will spawn off the first generation Degen NFTs several weeks after mint. That second NFT will then spawn off the third Degenerative NFT. Finally, the Third Degenerative NFT will spawn off the 4th Degenerative, completing the Series. All 3 spawned NFTs will be airdropped to the wallet containing the spawning NFT.
Those who HODL their original minted NFTs will end up with FOUR NFTs for the price of the single NFT.

To be able to mint a degenerative walker, you need to own at least ONE Walker access pass. The Snapshot for pass holders was taken on Wednesday July 27, 2022 at 1:00 pm Pacific / 4:00 pm Eastern / 8:00 pm GMT
The requirements to qualify for a snapshot were the following:
▍You must have a Metamask Wallet.
▍A Single The Walking Dead Walkers Access Pass must be in that Metamask Wallet at the time of the Snapshot.
The Mint will be on Thursday, July 28th at 1:00 pm PT via a Web3 Mint Button on a unique URL (which will be revealed just before mint). Metamask will be the minting wallet. Number of Degen walkers minted per pass won’t be limited. The minted NFTs will end up on OpenSea in their own collection under our verified account.

SOME SICK EXPERIMENTS
Where are all these lab reports coming from? We aren’t sure, but it looks like some sickos are doing a good bit of research on them… According to a source, some walkers may even get alterations and enhancement in the later stages. As if walkers weren’t already dangerous enough… but it may also be a good reason to hodl and see what these might become…
What is certain is that all of those walkers will be very valuable in THE WALKING DEAD LANDS. We know walkers aren’t going anywhere, and that we have to learn how to live with them instead of surviving in constant fear. Perhaps those experiments will be helpful after all..?

If I sell a walker, do I still get the airdrops?
No. The holder of the latest stage will be entitled to any unreleased stages — for example: if you own Stages 1 and 2, and decide to sell 2, the new owner of that NFT will be receiving the upcoming Stages 3 and 4.
Is each walker unique?
Yes, each of the walkers will be a 1 of 1 with unique attributes. And each new walker that gets spawned will also be unique, inheriting the original attributes with additional stages of decay.
Can I use them in TWD Lands?
Yes, each walker (whatever the stage of decay) will be usable in TWD Lands. More info will come soon about their specific utilities.
If I own multiple walker access passes, can I mint more?
There will be no limit to mint per passholder. All you need is one pass in your Metamask.
Are some of the walkers more valuable or rare than others?
On each stage, there will be alternate stages of decay, making them even more unique. For example, when your first walker spawn the second one, the new walker could decay by following two different setups. By the last stage, some of them might have gotten some alterations or enhancements, making them very rare and valuable. You will have to hodl through all stages to see what happens…
