The Upcoming Avatar Mint (both the Public and Exclusive Tiered mints) will only be accessible through the Metamask Wallet. 

The date of the Snapshot has not been set but we do encourage folks who may be thinking of purchasing another Walker Access Pass to make their purchases as soon as possible. The Date and Time of the Mint will be communicated soon.

There will be two nearly simultaneous mints going on:

• Public Mint: open to Walker Access Pass Holders and the General Crypto Public
• Exclusive Tiered Mint: Open to Walker Access Pass Holders only.

Announced price for Avatar Mint is $80.00 (to be set in ETH on the before the mint.) 

Quantity:  5000 NFTs of varying rarities. 

Allow List Period: 

This is the first time the rules of the public mint Allow List from the Roadmap will come into play. 

Those wallets that hold 5 or more Walker Access Passes at the time of the snapshot will get 24 hours before the time of the Public Mint to mint their Avatar NFTs on a 1 for 1 basis with the number of Walker Access Passes the wallet holds. (e.g. If your wallet holds 6 Walker Access Passes; you will be allowed to mint 6 Avatar NFTs from the Public Mint during the 24 hour period at the 0.02ETH discount.) 

Those wallets that hold 4 or less Walker Access Passes at the time of the snapshot will get 6 hours before the time of the Public Mint to mint their Avatar NFTs on a 1 for 1 basis with the number of Walker Access Passes the wallet holds. (e.g. If your wallet holds 3 Walker Access Passes; you will be allowed to mint 3 Avatar NFTs from the Public Mint during the 6 hour period at the 0.02ETH discount.) 

The final two hours of the Allow List Period will allow all Walker Access Pass Holders to mint an unlimited number of Avatar NFTs regardless of how many passes they hold in that wallet at up to 20 NFTs at a time. 

Allow List Price: 

Walker Access Pass Holders on the Allow List enjoy a 0.02ETH discount off of the Public Mint Price during this period for all Walker Pass Holders whose wallets are in the snapshot. 

At the end of the Allow List period the price of the NFT will go back to the Public Mint Price and the public will be invited to mint on an unlimited basis. Exclusive Tiered Mint: There will be an Exclusive Tiered Mint of Avatars in the 24 hours before the Public Avatar Mint above.

An Exclusive Mint is only available to holders of TWD Walkers Access Passes.

This Exclusive Avatar Tiered Mint is a one to one mint where holders of passes can mint only the number of NFTs based on the number of Walker Access Passes they own in a given wallet that is included in the Snapshot (the date given when Orange Comet records the ownership of NFTs and creates an allow list of the wallets holding these specific NFTs at that point in time.) 

A Tiered mint is a guaranteed rarity mint where you can mint an NFT based on the rarity of your Walker Access Pass. (For more information see “What is an Orange Comet Tiered Mint below.)

This is a 24 hour mint that will run parallel to the 24 hour “Allow List” mint of the public mint listed above.

Exclusive Tiered Mint Price: 

The price of the mint will be the Avatar Public price mint (without the discount found during the Allow List period seen in the Public mint.) 

The mint is a guaranteed rarity mint (as explained above.) 

Quantity:
5000 NFTs of matching rarities to your Walker Passes. 

Allow List Period:

The allow list is for pass holders of Walker Access Passes.  There are no time restrictions; as long as the NFT is minted during the minting period. 

An Orange Comet Tiered Mint unlocks rarity utility of the Walker Access Pass. A Tiered Mint is an exclusive mint for Walker Access Pass Holders where they can mint a 1 to 1 NFT whose rarity is based on the rarity of their Walker Access Pass for a single set price. 

For Example:
Orange Comet announces an exclusive tiered mint of a TWD NFT at the mint price of 0.XXETH that will occur on a specific date. Before the date (as with any Orange Comet Mint) a snapshot of Walker Access Pass holder wallets and their rarities is taken. 

John Q. TWDFan owns 3 Walker Access Passes at the time of the snapshot with the following rarities: One Uncommon, One SuperRare and One Epic pass. On the day of the tiered mint John would be able to mint up to 3 NFTs each at the same price of 0.XXETH based on the number of passes he holds: One Uncommon, One Super Rare and One Epic. If the mint is a reveal (meaning the full information on the NFT will be revealed on a date after the mint date) then the NFTs John purchases will not show a rarity until after the reveal but the mint order will determine rarity so he will be able to know which NFT is which rarity. In the example above John has 3 rarities Epic, Super Rare and Uncommon (in descending order of rarities.)

In the mint the first NFT that John mints which by default will have the lowest TokenID number and that will be assigned to the highest rarity of Walker Access Pass John owned at the time of the snapshot (i.e. in this case the EPIC rarity or whatever rarity is mapped to the Epic Pass.)

The second NFT John minted with the next lowest number will be designated as the SUPER RARE NFT. The third will obviously be the UNCOMMON based on John’s example. 

What if John only mints one or two NFTs?

The mint order of rarity will stay the same: the first NFT minted will be the highest rarity of the pass John owned at the time of the mint. (In this example the EPIC rarity) The second NFT John mints will be assigned the next rarity (if John owned two EPIC passes the second would be the same rarity or next highest rarity of the pass – in this case the SUPER RARE.) 

What if John purchases a LEGENDARY Pass after the mint but BEFORE the Reveal? Would the rarity of the first NFT get changed to LEGENDARY?

No, the rarity and number are assigned based on John’s wallet of the snapshot.

If John sells the EPIC pass before the reveal date, the mint rarity would still be EPIC as he owned the EPIC pass at the time of the snapshot. The same holds true if John were to sell the UNCOMMON NFT prior to the reveal to another person who had a different configuration of rarities in passes. The rarity of the unrevealed NFT is designated at the time of mint based on whomever is minting. The rarity does not change if the NFT changes ownership before the reveal. 

There is also a CAVEAT EMPTOR here in that if you purchase an unrevealed NFT from an Orange Comet Tiered Mint on the secondary marketplace and the seller states it is one rarity but in the reveal the NFT is a lower rarity – that is an issue with the seller, not Orange Comet.

NOTE: Orange Comet will not be responsible for claims of rarity made by others on the secondary sales market. So buyer beware.

Yes, each avatar will be usable in TWD Lands. More info will come soon about their specific utilities.

Both Public and Exclusive mints: 

Both NFT mints will be a reveal that, the final NFT will be revealed about 10-15 days or so after mint.

The Public mint pre-reveal NFTs artwork will be different from the Tiered Mint artwork so in the secondary market between the mint and the reveal date consumers can understand which NFT mint they are purchasing from. 

NOTE: Any Walker Access Passes marked stolen or suspicious by OpenSea will not be eligible to mint during the Allow List Period on either Mint.
