I’m just a guy who loves to race, starting from my early days racing go-karts on dirt, I have always appreciated how you – my fans – have supported me from midgets and sprint cars to the Indy Racing League to 18 collective years behind the wheel of the #20 and #14 cars at the Cup level. It was always a privilege to be considered “the People’s Champion”. Your support and loyalty carried to the teams I am so lucky to be a proud owner of. Whether it be on social media, YouTube, or at-track, I am always looking to find new ways to bring you closer to the sport both you and I love so much. I am very excited about this next new, fun chapter of fan access, experiences, and collectibles. This should be a fun ride.

What can fans expect from these new collectibles?
Experience the first-ever digital collectible that celebrates Tony Stewart’s career. The artistic designs from world class Orange Comet’s creative studio will be paired with real-world experiences and autographed memorabilia that makes each digital collectible (aka each NFT) truly something special to own for every fan of Smoke.
Fans who purchase a collectible from The Champion Series will receive an animated never-seen-before digital collectible (only 5 per car design ever available / 6 different cars featured) and an autographed Tony Stewart fire suit. Once the full series is sold out, one (1) owner of a “Champion Series” collectible will own a Cup stock car of Tony Stewart.
Those who purchase a collectible from The Legacy Series will receive a custom created 1 of 1 car PFP NFT collectible. Those who purchase two (2) collectibles from this series will also receive an autographed Tony Stewart hat. How many digital collectibles/NFTs will be available for purchase?
There will be 2 different sets of NFTs available. The first series, The Champions Series, will feature 6 designs and each design will only have 5 pieces, The second series, The Legacy Series, will feature 500 1 of 1 designs.
How do I purchase a Legend of Smoke digital collectible/NFT?
You must have a MetaMask wallet set up prior to purchase. CLICK HERE to learn how. Then, on drop day (August 23), the NFTs will be available for purchase on a mint page. What does NFT stand for?
An NFT (non-fungible token) is a unique and non-interchangeable unit of data stored on a digital ledger.
Non-fungible tokens can take the form of music, photos, and any other digital collectible, including books, blogs, or even Tweets. NFTs are basically unique autographs that a person can own outside the analog world. Non-fungible tokens can be shared and consumed but not duplicated, creating digital scarcity and proof of ownership.
How do NFTs work?
NFTs allow users to own digital assets like virtual real estate, art, digital sneakers and video moments. The concept of digital assets is similar to in-app purchases of items in video games. The big difference for NFTs is their uniqueness and ability to be easily transferred to another owner thanks to blockchain technology.
Each NFT minted is a verifiably unique asset that is worth as much as someone’s willing to pay for it. With some experts warning that over 50% of all art on the market is likely fake, the risks of investing in physical art are great. What makes blockchain unique?
Blockchain is a decentralized system, which means that the data lives on the network, instead of in one place. This means that transactions are recorded by all users on the blockchain network, and any changes to the transaction record must be confirmed by the vast majority of blockchain users in order to be recognized as legitimate.
Origin of NFTs?
NFTs date back to 2012 when Colored Coins tried to embed proof of ownership within a Satoshi, the tiniest units of Bitcoin. However, the technology didn’t support such behavior, and Colored Coins never lived up to expectations.
NFTs truly hit the mainstream 2017, starting with CryptoKitties and CryptoPunks. CryptoKitties is a game on Ethereum where users can adopt, raise and mate virtual cats.
What about the environmental concerns with nfts?
