Meet Joe Whale, aka The Doodle Boy, the unexpected artist behind your next favorite digital collectibles. Looked upon by many as a boy wonder, Joe has already been a collaborator with NIKE, DISNEY / PIXAR and the PRINCE AND PRINCESS OF WALES – and he’s only 13 years old!

Joe’s resume would be impressive for someone who’s been in the game for decades, let alone a teenager. His artwork has been showing in galleries from London to New York.

Born in the UK with a remarkable outlook on life, Joe’s unparalleled imagination has led him to create incredible pieces in his signature doodle style since he was 3 years old. An emerging master, Joe reimagines the world around us creating entirely new realms, filled with aliens, monsters, and, in his own words, “things that people wouldn’t normally think of.”

He doesn’t plan his doodles, but just lets the creativity flow, and ends up with a unique masterpiece with distinct characters and stories every time. When Joe’s pen meets paper, fantastical, fully realized, and wholly new worlds emerge. He is a cutting edge young artist whose monsters and aliens are soon to invade the blockchain.

Orange Comet will be releasing a limited collection of The Remarkables NFTs by Joe Whale on April 25th, exclusively on OpenSea.

This unique digital collection will take the original doodle characters through an evolution process, from black & white 2D, to 3D clay, eventually transforming into vibrant scenes with unique colorways, environments, and personality traits.

This family of characters will be the first step towards a much larger ecosystem that merges storytelling with amazing experiences, such as taking your 3D Doodle in the real world to help you collect items (discovery via AR), animated storylines, gamified experiences, real -world items, and potential collaborations across relevant Orange Comet properties.
