Land of the Lost NFTs FAQs

What does NFT stand for?

NFT stands for Non Fungible Token.  Fungible means it can be turned into something else: For example: a Dollar can be turned into 100 pennies.  

Non Fungible:  The Mona Lisa cannot be turned into anything else so it is Non-Fungible it stands alone.

What is an NFT?

A special piece of digital art whose ownership is registered on a publicly viewable ledger called The Blockchain allowing them to be collected, bought, sold and traded with others.

Why are the Kroffts doing NFTs?

NFTs are the latest form of digital collectibles and the vast landscape of fun, memorable and iconic programming of Sid and Marty Krofft is remembered by generations of fans who grew up on it.  They are a natural fit to this new collectible world.

Why did Sid and Marty Krofft partner with Orange Comet?

Orange Comet’s creative team is second to none.  They have a full design studio within the company that can take the wonderfully memorable and nostalgic characters created by the Kroffts.  Their team will create a series of NFTs whose creative work will pay the rightful homage to the amazing show.

What will the Land of the Lost NFTs portray?

While we are still in the planning stages, the NFTs will portray the ingenious technology, creatures and situations that were woven into the fabric of the Land of the Lost story.

Will there be Dinosaurs, Sleestaks and Chaka?

Of course!  Land of the Lost would not be Land of the Lost without its iconic characters.

When will the Land of the Lost NFTs be released?

We are expecting early September for them to be released around the premiere date of the show which was September 7th.
